I am analyzing some fungal sequence data with Megan (version 6.4.8) and currently trying to assign taxonomic identity for the OTUs in my data. After improrting the batch blasted data (weighted LCA; All settings as default) and then exporting the results (export -> CSV format -> readName_to_taxonPath), I have a problem with having several OTUs with the same taxonomic identity. Otherwise everything seems to look good. As I don’t have any previous experience in this topic, I’d appreciate some help.
Edit: Problem solved, was not a Megan related issue but had to do with clustering parameters.
