My work laptop was recently updated to macOS Catalina and now I am unable to install MEGAN6 using the ‘MEGAN_Community_macos_6_18_3.dmg’ file. I repeatedly get an error that says: “MEGAN Community Edition Installer can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.”
macOS Catalina requires all software to be notarized before it is allowed to run, could this be the reason?
