Megan6_5_5 not working on macos

Hello Megan Community!!!

I updated MEGAN6 (downloaded in January 2016) to the latest version 5.5 and now it is not working. MEGAN6 can’t start anymore. I have OS X Yosemite 10.10.4, and java 8.

Please, how can I solve this problem?

Dear Lucas,

please give us more details. Did the installer complete? Any error messages? Is there a file called error.log in the installation directory? If so, what does it contain? I have just downloaded the latest MEGAN CE installer 6.5.6 for MacOS and it appears to work for me…

I don’t know why, but I updated to El Capitan and the problem was solved.
