Install MEGAN with locally Java installed

Hi,

I got his message while installing MEGAN:

No suitable Java Virtual Machine could be found on your system.
The version of the JVM must be 1.8.
Please define INSTALL4J_JAVA_HOME to point to a suitable JVM.

So, I installed java locally in my home directory, i.e. jdk-12.0.1 (java version “12.0.1” 2019-04-16). I am not sure how to set INSTALL4J_JAVA_HOME to point to jdk-12.0.1. I tried to modify MEGAN_Community_unix_6_15_2.sh directly; however it couldn’t be run due to corruption.

Thanks,
Coax

I am working upgrading MEGAN to open JDK 12, you can expect a new release in a day or two…
