Hello everyone. I am new at MEGAN, and I am facing a problem. I want to do functional analysis for a biom file, however, when I upload the biom file all the functional annotations icons are inactive. I am using Megan6 and I downloaded the mapping files available online, unzipped them, and located them in the Megan folder. Please advise what should I do. Thanks!
This is tricky, because there is no standard biom format and so different programs write stuff into a biom file in different ways.
What program did you use to generate the biom file? Please give me access to a small example file and I will take a look at it.
