Exporting KEGG data - duplicate KO ID's

Hello

I see in the KEGG tree that KO’s which are replicated throughout the KEGG tree are displayed e.g. K00844 hexokinase [EC:2.7.1.1]. However, when I export all leaves, only the first instance of K00844 is exported. I assume that the number of assignments to K00844 (in this example) will be identical throughout the tree? Is there a way to export all instances of K00844 (and others) when exporting KEGG path to count?

Yes, the same KO can appear multiple times in the KEGG hierarchy.
MEGAN is supposed to report all paths, but is not doing so, due to a bug. I have eliminated the bug and the next release will report all paths (so the same KO may appear multiple times as the end node of a path).
