I am trying to install MEGAN on a machine that runs Windows 7 enterprise edition (2009). I have downloaded the Community installers (I have tried both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions) but when I try to run them I am told that neither of them is a valid Win32 application. Any suggestions? Dear Ed, sorry, I don’t have that version of Windows (I’ve only got access to 8 and 10), so no way to figure out what the problem is…
Thanks Daniel. It was a lack of Java on my machine! I had thought that it would be installed automatically, but after doing it manually, everything worked! Appreciate the quick response! Ed

Which version of MEGAN were you trying to install? MEGAN 6 comes with its own JRE, so shouldn’t require Java to be installed on the machine…
