In version 6 of the megan community within the network co-occurrence option, what is the difference between the green and red lines attached to the taxon? What is the difference between the “co” and “ins” options in the co-occurrence plot? I looked for answers in the manual but found nothing about it.
green are positive correlations (taxa occur together) and red are negative correlations (“anti-correlations”, taxa tend to not occur together). The “co” checkbox turns the green edges on and off (“co”=correlated) and the “anti” checkbox turns the red edges on and off (“anti”=anti-correlated).
