I have generated microbial attributes heatmaps from my data. The sample names are taken from the imported files. These names are too wordy and I want to customize the sample names on my plots. Is there a way to do this in MEGAN6 or do I have to reimport my data with file names that reflect what I want to show on my plots?
You can use the Samples Viewer to either rename the samples in a file (even if it is just one sample) or to assign an attribute to all samples, such as “name”, and then select the attribute to label the samples.
