Can DAA files be opened using MEGAN in Linux?

I used MEGAN Community Edition (version 6.24.20) in my Mac, and there is no problem for me to open daa files.
I installed MEGAN Community Edition (version 6.24.21) in a Linux computer. My daa files cannot be opened using MEGAN (File – Open) in the Linux computer. After I selected a file and clicked “Open”, the window was gone and the file was not opened. Is this normal?

You should be able to open meganized files on any OS, and there is usually no problem opening a file under linux that was meganized on MacOS. I just tried this and there was no obvious problem. There might be something else going on? Can you check whether a file called error.log is generated in the installation directory when you do this?
