Blast2rma: Warning: Might not be a BLAST file in XML format (outfmt 16)

Hi, I have a blast XML file generated by -outfmt 16 of Blastn. The original XML flavour isn’t valid XML for xquery is why I used the new format. Megan can’t parse this ‘new’ output format to my knowledge. Is this a known issue?

I ran a test with -outfmt 16 on a yacon necrotic mottle virus accession. I hope this is useful to you.

Thank you for the file. This looks like a new XML format for BLAST output, internally labeled “BlastXML2”. I will look into writing a parser for this.
